Self-Actualization

Confidence & Motivation Hypnosis in Chicago

The gap between who you are on a good day and who you are in the room that matters is not a character flaw. It is a pattern โ€” and patterns are exactly what hypnosis is good at.

The problem

The version of you that shows up

Most people who come to me about confidence are not lacking ability. They are watching themselves shrink in specific, predictable situations โ€” the meeting, the ask, the first ten minutes of anything new โ€” and then spending the drive home relitigating it.

Motivation works the same way. You are not lazy. You have a pattern that reliably produces avoidance around one particular kind of task, and a running commentary that makes starting feel more expensive than it is.

The work

Working on the pattern instead of the pep talk

Affirmations mostly fail because the part of you they are aimed at is not listening. In hypnosis, the critical, arguing, "yes but" layer relaxes โ€” and suggestion reaches the layer that actually runs the automatic behavior.

We do three things: install a physical anchor you can trigger in the room itself, rehearse the specific situation in vivid detail until the nervous system stops treating it as novel, and rewrite the internal commentary that runs before and after it.

This is the work the business is named after. "Highest self-actualization" is not a slogan โ€” it is the observation that most people are already carrying the capability and are being throttled by a pattern they did not choose.

What actually happens

Your session, step by step

  1. Naming the exact situations where the gap shows up. Specific beats general every time.
  2. Identifying what you already do well, so we are amplifying something real rather than inventing a persona.
  3. Hypnosis: anchoring, rehearsal, and suggestion aimed at the pattern you described.
  4. A physical cue you can use in the actual moment.
  5. Custom audio recording so the rehearsal keeps running between sessions.

How many sessions? Typically 3 to 5 sessions. Many clients continue with a monthly maintenance session. Nobody is asked to buy a package before their first session, and you will never be sold a program in the middle of a trance.

Take it home: Standing in the Sun

A 25-minute confidence and self-worth track. The one people re-listen to most.

Every one-on-one client also gets a recording made specifically for them, in their own words โ€” not this one. This is the general version, for anyone.

Questions

About confidence & motivation

It overlaps. The difference is the state we do it in. A coach works with your conscious, deliberate mind โ€” which is useful and which you may also want. Hypnosis works with the part underneath that, where the automatic reactions live. Many of my clients do both.

No, and you would not like it if you did. Hypnosis cannot install a personality you did not ask for or make you act against your own values. What clients usually describe is being more themselves in rooms where they used to be less.

Yes โ€” a presentation, an audition, an interview, a competition. Give me at least two weeks and ideally three sessions before the date.
