Public Speaking Hypnosis in Chicago

Presenting, pitching, toasting, testifying. If your body reacts before you have said a word, more preparation will not fix it โ€” because preparation is not the thing that is misfiring.

The problem

You are over-prepared and still shaking

The people who come to me about speaking are almost always the ones who prepared the most. They know the material cold. They rehearsed it in the car. And then the room does something to them anyway.

That is because the reaction is not a knowledge problem. It is a conditioned physical response that fires on a cue โ€” walking to the front, hearing your name, the moment the screen shares. The response is fast, automatic, and completely uninterested in how well you know slide fourteen.

The work

Rewiring the cue, not the content

We work directly on the cue. In a relaxed, focused state, you rehearse the exact moment โ€” the walk, the name, the first sentence โ€” while your body is calm. Repeated enough times, the cue stops carrying the old charge.

We also build a fast, discreet reset you can run in the ninety seconds before you go on, and we address what happens after โ€” because for a lot of people the worst part is the two days of post-mortem, and that loop feeds the next one.

Chicago is a presentation town. Lawyers, consultants, salespeople, founders, physicians presenting at grand rounds, students defending. This is one of the most straightforward things I do.

What actually happens

Your session, step by step

  1. Walking through the real event: the room, the audience, the format, the stakes.
  2. Locating where in the sequence the reaction actually starts โ€” it is rarely where people think.
  3. Hypnotic rehearsal of that exact sequence, repeatedly, with the body calm.
  4. A ninety-second pre-talk reset you can run anywhere, including a bathroom stall.
  5. Custom audio to run nightly in the week before the event.

How many sessions? Two to four sessions. If you have a date on the calendar, book at least three weeks out. Nobody is asked to buy a package before their first session, and you will never be sold a program in the middle of a trance.

Take it home: Calm Before the Room

An 18-minute pre-performance track. Short by design โ€” meant for the night before and the morning of.

Every one-on-one client also gets a recording made specifically for them, in their own words โ€” not this one. This is the general version, for anyone.

Questions

About public speaking

Not too late to help, but be realistic โ€” one session plus nightly audio can take real edge off. Three sessions across three weeks does considerably more. Book what you can.

Yes. Musicians, actors, and competitive athletes come in for essentially the same work under a different name โ€” see the performance section on the sessions page.

Then this is a high-return investment, and a monthly maintenance session is worth considering. Several of my clients present weekly and treat it the way they treat the gym.
