1. Who you are contracting with

Services and products on this site are provided by Highest Self Actualization LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, located in Chicago, Illinois. By booking a session or buying a product you agree to these terms and to the Scope of Practice & Disclaimer, which is incorporated here by reference.

2. Services are not medical or psychological care

You acknowledge that Tim Horine is a Certified Consulting Hypnotist and not a licensed health care provider; that services do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, disorder, or condition; and that they are not a substitute for medical or psychological care. See the full disclaimer.

3. Booking and payment

Sessions are booked in advance and paid at or before the appointment. Prices are published on the pricing page and may change, but the price quoted at booking is the price you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe.

4. Cancellations and missed appointments

• 48 hours or more notice: reschedule or cancel at no charge.
• Less than 48 hours, or a missed appointment: the session is charged in full, because the slot cannot be refilled.
• Genuine emergencies are handled with judgment, not policy.
• If Tim cancels, you are offered the next available slot or a full refund, your choice.

5. Packages

Multi-session packages are paid in advance, expire twelve months from purchase, and are transferable to another person. Unused sessions are refundable on request at the difference between the package rate and the single-session rate for sessions already used.

6. Digital products

• Delivery. Download links are provided immediately after payment and by email. Links do not expire; if one fails, email for a replacement.
• Refunds. Digital downloads are non-refundable once downloaded. That said, if a track genuinely does not work for you, email within 30 days and explain why — refunds are given at Tim's discretion, and he would rather refund you and learn something.
• Licence. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to listen. You may not share, resell, broadcast, upload, sample, or reproduce the recordings, and you may not use them in any commercial or group setting without written permission.
• Safety. Do not listen while driving or operating machinery. See section 6 of the disclaimer before first use.

7. Membership

Membership bills monthly or annually until cancelled. Cancel any time from the link in your receipt or by email; access runs to the end of the paid period. Already-downloaded files remain yours. No partial refunds for unused time.

8. Corporate and group bookings

Corporate workshops are quoted individually and confirmed in writing. A deposit of [%] secures the date. Cancellation inside [period] forfeits the deposit. Travel outside the Chicago metropolitan area is quoted separately.

9. Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate information at intake, to disclose relevant medical or mental health circumstances so Tim can determine whether a referral is appropriate, to continue any care you are receiving, and not to attend a session under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site, and all recordings, are the property of Highest Self Actualization LLC and are protected by copyright. Personal custom recordings are yours to use personally and remain licensed on the same non-commercial terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, the total liability of Highest Self Actualization LLC and Tim Horine for any claim arising out of services or products is limited to the amount you paid for the service or product concerned. Neither is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois. [Attorney: consider whether an arbitration clause is wanted here.]

These terms may be updated; the version in force at the time of your purchase or booking is the one that applies to it.
